More people need to hear this song….perhaps one of the best songs I have ever heard. There are a few different versions of this song available…an amazingly raw demo, the album version, a John Peel session….all versions make the hair on the back of my neck do weird things.
Such a strange band name too. There’s three of them….which one is Kloot? Apparently, in Dutch, kloot (not sure if that’s the right Dutch spelling of the word) means ‘one testicle’. The band claim they have more than one testicle. There’s also a cult movie called ‘Klute’. The band are not a movie.
Kloot have just released a B-sides album and rare recordings. From the non-album stuff i’ve heard, this 28-track album will be fantastic. You can order it off the band’s website (link below).
